*USO CARE packages for the troops -Thanks to everyone. We raised over $1,600!

Phase I was a smashing success, and we raised over $1,000 for our troops!
Phase II has now ended, along with the project - at $625

Distributed Computing won the challenge to the Off-Topic crowd to match or beat our contributions!

Fox News Article about the USO Care Packages


These care packages include items specifically requested by the military for the aid and comfort of our troops. Considering they are laying their LIVES down for US, it's a small price to pay. Our personal greetings are also sent to the troops!

We are now ending our organized effort on behalf of Anandtech forums. If you still wish to send a care package, you may contact your local USO office.
