USPS: WTF?

That is what happens when you hire new college grads to do your logistics. I just got a package from UPS.

Here is the sequence...

Somewhere, CA
Boston, MA
Someplace, CT
Norwood, MA

WTF....

1. To get to Someplace, CT from Boston, you have to pass Norwood, MA, which is actually right off the highway.
2. Passing Norwood from boston means you pass where I live.

I don't know. I've never had a problem with USPS. I ordered a HDD by 3 day mail and it came the next day via USPS.

A guy in FS/FT forum shipped me priority and I received it in 2 days; California to Ohio.

Everyone I've shipped priority has received it in the 2-3 day window.

You're experiencing an anomaly.

You do realize they do not make an individual trip for your package, right? So it isn't going to take a straight line to get to you?

That route looks fine to me. They have contracts with domestic airlines for cargo.

Meh. All carriers have thier issues.

Ive seen dhl throw boxes in my neighbors backyard.

The last 2 packages Ive gotten through UPS have been opened

I had UPS leave a a freakin guitar on the front steps of my porch. Not even on the porch. The box was mangled and there was a chunk broken off the body.

Ive had fexex route my package through the midwest and my 2 day shipping I paid for turned into 5 business days.

Theres more, but meh. Ive come to accept that they all suck and just get pissed each time they screw up now.

+1. This happens for nearly all of my packages sent through USPS. Good thing the post office is only a few minutes walk away.

I've told my carrier to not even bother trying since I'm never home when he comes around, and now he just usually leaves the slip once.
