Yes I was a former BB employee and I was a very good BB employee and they did not like me leaving and I have been asked to come back many times. I left becasue I have a real job and worked at BB for the many deals. I did one thing that many employees don't do and that was I didn't lie, if I didn't know then I told the customer that I don't know. I made every attempt to get them a correct answer but they respected the fact that I didn't try to sell them a bunch of crap on mis-information. I did like working there and I did enjoy working with the many fine customers who came my way. I delt with the likes of the folks in here by sending them to Customer service and if they got away with it more power to them. I did not mess with the registers because we had people that were paid to ring folks up, my job was to help the folks in the Computer department by suggestoing the many things they may need for there new system.

BTW, I'm proud to say I never sold a piece of crap E-Machine while I worked there, I gave the sale to someone else (non comission and all)

OMG Nick, I think you could possibly be the greatest BB employee ever. Not only have you never sold an E-Machine (my fiance had one, and I hated it so much I built her a new PC just to make her get rid of it.), but you are also not afraid to say "I don't know!" I have never heard those words out of a BB Computer employee's mouth. In fact when I am bored I like to go there and ask them questions just to see if they know the answer, and 95% of the time they don't know and give me a BS answer figuring I wouldn't ask them something that I knew the answer to.

I am also very much like you in that I take great pleasure from helping people out, customers or whaterver. (I am currrently the tech support guy for a dot-com and love it.) And I also believe that honesty is the only way to go. Too bad my BB doesn't adhere to that same policy. When I went back to get a second HDD today and PM it the customer service guy told me that the local MC was out of stock, and he didn't even call to check. So I went outside, dialed MC on my cell, and verified that they did indeed have them in stock. I went back in and told them that I just called and they have them in stock and I couldn't believe they would blatantly lie to me and the manager was very apologetic (he happened to be behind the counter and heard my rant) and PM'ed the drive for me. (He still kept the rebate receipts.. the bastard!)

All I can say is, it must be the name! My name is Nick, too.
