edit: just tried playing there again, and I honestly think I would have a better chance with zero ping and a blindfold! Walk four steps toward weapon, stop. Wait as screen yanks me back to where I started, then oozes me toward where I was trying to go (hopefully). Correct aim, walk towards weapon, stop, wait. You got the Rocket Launcher! Wooo! Find out you died about five seconds ago when a bot found you stumbling around near the RL. Respawn. Repeat.

Guess it just wasn't meant to be...

Well I tried. I can enter the gamebox servers and one called ***Anandtech*** owned by "Hardware Addicted" but when I try the tilda open 24.31.216.77 it just sits there til it times out.

Wow Migroo - that was a heck of a way for me to learn how to play. (He kept handing me my legs, face, head, *ss and hands too!)

I still don't understand the weapons much but I have reread the help files and have more of an idea now. It was a lot of fun but I was exhausted after 2 frames. Those Bots - the AI on them is good enough to believe they're real people! Will come in again when I get time.

Oh & the map has been changed to an outside one

I moved to another computer and it is now the default port. It was started in some other threads. Its now the outdoor map with no translocator.
