UT: Tactical Ops

Does this add-on require massive system requirements? I can run Quake3, UT:w/2nd cd textures, RTCW... etc no probs. Game play is extremely choppy... settings are... texture compression on, 1024x768 32 bit graphics... RTCW looks way better and run 10x as smooth! Any suggestions? or is the UT engine just crap?

Sorry... system specs are:

Duron 750 @ 1 Ghz
K7S5A
Radeon 7500 (330/290)
256 PC133 SDRam

All my other FPS run smooth at the same resolution. Peace out.

Tac Ops is heavy. I run Tac Ops at 1024x768@16bit color on my PC cuz 32-bit gets unplayable in firefights and other areas. Gread mod though.

No, the UT engine isn't crap, but it is demanding on the cpu. Try some more conservative video settings.
