Ut2004 making my card act up

Im running a 9800NP clocked at 380/315 core and mem. Its pretty well stable, although after 1+ hour or so of gaming in max payne 2 or tron 2.0 it will start artifacing. This I can live with as I dont usually play more than an hour at a time. I downloaded the UT2004 demo though and it is causing it to start artifacing frequently. Sometiems in like 5 minutes sometimes not for 45. This game definenlty eats up more of my system than the 2 games I already mentioned do thats for sure. I dropped the mem down to 312 and still got the same thing. Im worried that my card may be damaged from running it too hard for these months. Usually when it would start artifacing i would just quit for awhile anyway, im not one to binge play a game for 4 hours straight. Usually 30 minutes or so, so its not been an issue.

Is it possible my card could be damaged, or more likely that my overclock is a little too much or I need better cooling? I wont have the opportunity to test it until tommorow but its worrying me now.

This has me worried and I would like some of your opinions as I dont think an RMA is possible with my situation.

Personally I think that UT04 hits the GPU a bit harder than previous versions (even though it's supposed to be the 03 engine). I had to back my OC off a bit w/ a 9800p. Maybe they added a few DX9 features that are working the processor a bit more, don't know.

Funny part is that it runs smoother for me than ut03 - go figure.

Artifacts are never good, doesn't matter if it doesn't bother you. It means you're pushing things a bit too far. Back it off a bit and see how it goes from there... really that simple.

lol I just played at like 320x2?? lowest settings and I got a whoping, a stunning, an amazing 40 fps a second! See my sig for system specs, if you dont' already know them because I have told you so many times.

**EDIT** I got major artifacts all over my screen, that's why I quoted you.
