Vacationing!! Jamacia or Cancun?

Thinking of going on vacation with the wife. Looking for great beaches, cold drinks, good food and fun times. Which destination? Cancun or Jamacia?

If you're going early summer and want to avoid drunken teenagers (since you're going with the wife) I'd say Jamaica's a safer bet - plus I've been to Jamaica and it's amazing.

Found a "Hot Deal", 7 nights, 3 star hotel, air/hotel included. 360 per person. So, for right around 700 bucks me n the wife can go for 7 days to Cancun and have air and hotel covered.

Depends on where in Jamaica. In my personal opinion, Cancun is too popular, filled with too many spring-breakish drunk students. I went to a resort in Negril, Jamaica, and it was beautiful. Snorkeling was superb, I hear the scuba diving was amazing, beaches are beautiful... So my personal vote is Jamaica. Go there before it gets *too* overcrowded.

Jamaica and not for that reason Cancun is just ehh.. unless your a college kid with a bunch of your buddies.
