Vaio AMD/PIII Laptop Comparison Question

Sony has the FXA49 AMD 1.2 Vaio laptop and the GR370 PIII Vaio laptop. These are almost identical except for the CPU and Graphics cards. Of course I would love to go with the AMD, but the graphics card offered with that is only 8MB (ATI mobility Radeon) SDRAM. The graphics card offered with the GR370 is 16MB DDR. They are both going for about 1250-1275 on ebay. My questions:

1. Will there be that much difference with the graphics between the two?
2. If there is, would it be a tough endeavor to upgrade to the nicer graphics card after the purchase?

i don't think you'll be able to upgrade the graphics at all after the purchase since its integrated on the motherboard and they don't have any AGP slot. If you want to play 3D games then you should get the DDR for sure, 32MB if possible. If not then the 8MB SDRAM should work just fine. The only difference is gonna be 3D speed.
