Replenished Misti's blood and repaired broken Tremere blood return.
Awarded xp when releasing Julius and restored Ming/Fu connections.
Made ghouling Heather easier again and added camera moving to cfgs.
Gave katanas to Temple and Society enemies and removed respawning.

Prevented Boris' door from closing and Dema from vanishing in view.
Fixed hospital screams and dialogue bugs of Arthur, Cal and Pisha.
Shortened Ventrue loading tip and some histories names to fit page.
Removed some more flickering decals and fixed many floating props.

I know some of you are still playing this great game.

I played it some time ago, my machine wasn't up to spec. Great game, but on the last (?) boss (giant bat, I think it was the Marshall/Sheriff) one of the gfx put my computer into about .2 FPS. Had to use cheat codes from there on to finish it. Now that I have a more significant machine, and I see there are unofficial patches, I might try it again with a different clan.

Yes, very good game. I never finished it because it was a little complex for my taste, but I have great memories of what I did play. The first town is very believable.

It's a shame that they didn't spend more time on this game to polish it up.

Great game, it's a shame it was released so buggy, and at the same time as Half-Life 2. It also had the best game soundtrack.

Nope, BattleField: Vietnam's soundtrack is by far the best of any game.

The soundtrack is downright awful, but I enjoy the game.

I started it a few weeks ago, and have been playing sporadically. After an initial *two* characters that broke the game in the first 30 minutes, I finally created one that has had everything running smoothly. It's pretty fun overall, and I would recommend it to anyone capable of applying few tweaks and patches. It's unfortunate that you have to display such patience with what could have been a *great* game, but it's still well above average.

I got mine from Direct2Drive, the unofficial patch works fine with it.

I played this game a year or two ago and I thought it was a great game. The only level I didn't care for was the gangster mansion - seemed out of place and didn't fit well with the rest of the levels. I don't recall any problems with it being buggy.

The release version of the game shipped with a game ending bug that people had to use the console to get around. The single official patch fixed this bug, along with a few others.

Does the unofficial patch work with the STEAM version? I've been wanting to pick it up for a while; and i'm quite fond of STEAM these days. I just need to know if the unofficial patch works with the steam version before i download it and i'm stuck back with 1.2

It works fine with the Direct2Drive version, not sure about STEAm.

Wow, thats a shock that its on Steam, especially after Activision canned Troika studios. No idea whether or not the unofficial patches work.

I wonder how this game will sell on Steam, since its been in the bargain bin for years now.

That was a good game. Played it awhile back. After I cleared it once with gangrel, I started over with a malk, but lost both when I forgot to backup my saves before a reinstall of XP.



I do have a question that may have a little bit of spoiler to it so:

When I started over as a malk I made it to the dinner where the guy is over in the corner, when I went over to him some voices would play but I never could make out what was being said. I heard that this happens at times when playing as a malk, but do you ever get to here the words being said?

Yes, but you usually have to crank the volume up and have good clear speakers or headphones.

I had the most fun playing as a Malk, it actually clears up some parts of the story because of your 'crazy sense'.
