working on a project.
Need som code snippet that can detect if a file is OPEN.
database project (beginner level)
Have array eg. 1 To 5
User Defined DataType
Save to file on disk by looping through the array
If the app is open and I want to add some posts it is OK.
BUT when I then click the button "Show" for the app to
show all the posts including the new posts, I get the
err. subscript out of range. When I step into the code
with the debugger, index is 7. So seems like the app
is trying to add a new lot of 5 posts.
Maybe I have to start the procedure showing the posts by
first opening and then closing the file, to be sure it is closed
Open the file again and then the app will read the whole file afresh....???
Seems very awkward..must be an easier way...:frown:
