vBulletin Plugin Suggestions

surrrrsly this is taking ridiculously long (I guess you knew that already). This message board has been borked for over a year 1/2 now (mainly search problems).

As for plugin suggestions I just want it to be easier to find threads that I made or participated in.

Agreed, the search function bites.

BUT: As i said 2 years ago, why upgrade/update if it makes stuff worse.

I did the account conversion thing and it gave me someone elses account.

I think someone else used to have the account "MB" on here and then changed / never posted with it. On the vb User CP it says the account address is mattb@crosswinds.net but that's not me.

If I request my log in details for my email address it says my username is imported_mb

The imported_mb account has the correct information.

I guess the solution would be to nuke the "MB" account on the VB side, and rename the "imported_mb" account to "mb"

Yeah, they have to do that cleanup with quite a few users, including me.

Yes slow but at least you can find the stuff you're looking for.

I don't think they have dedicated enough resources for vB yet. vB is on forums around the size or even larger than AT without anywhere near the slowdowns we've experienced so far.

This may have already been addressed, but I would like to see the illegal character restriction eased. I used to have an underscore in the middle, and had to delete it. I would like to be able to add that back and get my original user name back. Buck_Naked.

I dunno if this has been suggested but I already miss the "new" for new messages.

Btw the old "go to last unread message" was useless, a "go to first unread message" would have been more helpful.
