Was always Nov 7th, nvidia even announced the date this time.
Fudzilla let it slip that there is a launch tomorrow! Another night with not enough sleep :/
GK110 is a nice chip, more efficient than I thought it would be when it launched as Tesla. However it's only now with the 290X release that pricing is even in the neighborhood of "reasonable". If the rumored $699 is true that is too high should be $599. Heck I'd love to see it drop in at $549 and then see GTX 780 reference drop to $400-449 but I won't hold my breath.
Will reviews be up at midnight or is it 9am tomorrow?
Well it doesn't look like anything special. I mean for $700 its not worth it at all for a measly 7% percent increase in performance over the Titan.
If it cost $600 it may be decent, but as of right now I just don't see the value at all. Comes with only 3GB, the clock is not really high, at $700 its just a bad deal.
I mean Nvidia needs to stop pushing prices up, I just don't get it who is buying their cards at such extreme prices.
If you been in the game as long as I have, you will note both NV and AMD/ATI have traded blows and crowns many times. Nvidia has been taking advantage of your wallet for far to long and it's about time they get checked. Once these AMD drivers mature, you're really going to see the power of the R9 coupled with legit aib cards with better coolers and bios.
It's been predicted AMD will take 40% marketshare with R9... That number may increase since that was predicted before the 290 dropped.
The 780ti looks like it's perched to take down the 290x at 1440p or lower stock vs stock. It will probably OC well but it's hard to say how well the 290x will OC and regardless of how either card OCs it's pretty obvious that at around 1600p the 290x becomes a better performer.
Price/performance wise it's very hard to argue that the 780ti is worth the $699 nVidia is charging.
It really bothers me that nvidia is driving up card prices so much. I never thought I would see the day when a single card would cost you as much as a mid range gaming computer a few years before. But I guess if people wanna fork over 999 for a Titan, whatever.
Now that AMD has something that can go blow for blow with the best nvidia has to offer I think prices should get much better.
The 290 at $400 is obviously a killer deal. If i were buy a card today, I'm buying that but I just have personal qualms with paying more than $500 for any video card.
Chiphell has some legitimate looking results, including OCing (but only on stock voltage).
Based off of this, I would say $599 would be a great place to put this card.

Although im not too keen on buying reference cards that design nvidia have is rather sleek and to me much nicer looking than amds offerings.
It's sleek and nice, but not $700 sleek and nice.

fortunate to get today's younger brother complete based GK110 core GTX780Ti, then the following no obligation for everyone to bring practical evaluation. appearance basically followed the TITAN and GTX780 style, but still a slight difference between the output side is still used DVIx2 + DP x1 + HDMI x1 test platform uses: Gigabyte Z87X-OC Intel I7 4770K SAMSUNG 840EVO 120G Antec HCP1200 Apacer 2Gx2 C9 2000 CPU Turbo with automatic power saving turned on (8x-45x) First, for everyone bring default test, where we use GPU-Z and ASUS GPU-tweak record the temperature. 3D Mark 11 score X5151 Extreme Performance results 13500 3D Mark 11 3D Mark 9861 score FS FSE 3D Mark 4931 results we can see in the performance relative to the GTX TITAN and GTX780 are still significant advancements in 3D mark11 for AMD to continue to maintain the advantages of the flagship R9 290x in New 3D mark is then further narrow the gap with the R9 290x, so that comparable levels At the same time during the test run GPU maximum temperature 79 degrees, however, but also very quiet. come with furmark barbecue test, the maximum temperature of 83-84 degrees, the same fan is very quiet. Next we make a simple overclocking. I'm ready to pull the trigger!!!!! Give me a green monster and I'll give you monster green!
The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SuperClocked runs at 980 MHz, which is probably boost clock. That means it’s 52 MHz faster than other GTX 780 Ti that we’ve seen already. Of course also this card will use 3GB GDDR5 memory. It’s worth noting that GTX 780 Ti will support QUAD-SLI configurations.
