Now this is where things get interesting. We have also learned that AMD is preparing another event for CES 2017, which might be a public launch of VEGA. In case you don’t remember, Polaris Tech Day took place 28 days before RX 400 series were released. So it makes perfect sense that both events are connected. Did you notice that CES takes place in Las VEGAs?

Sadly i see this more and more.. When some people don't like the message, they do everything in their power to unfairly discredit the news/rumor source. But i have to say its funny to see the "faithful" in full damage control mode the last week regarding this and ReLive

Seems like they don't like the tough of the overpriced $699 card turning out to be a historical ~300-350$ card.

Seems the people on this forum are less reliable than rumor sites that the same people are complaining about. mabe we are best to just leave the rumor sites for the rumor threads like this one alone. Whats next are we gonna debate what the rumor percentage is?

OR mabe , just mabe, some just don't like the information they are receiving from the rumor thread, full of rumor sites so they derail the conversation with these worthless conversations..

numbers I totally pulled from my tuckus. Perhaps someone could read through ~5 years of their articles, vet them for accuracy, and put together a nice chart detailing the predictions that panned out and those that didn't? Maybe perform a regression analysis to calculate the rate of accuracy of their predictions to other industry websites?

That would be great. I'm not going to do it, though. I'll just stick with my practiced ability to scan all sorts of text for the easily-discernible language of common bullsh*t artists.

GP100 is 300watts for 10.6 Tflops
so what your trying to say is that AMD is 16% more efficient then NV

That's just Fury Nano, nothing special.Else they would've called it Vega. Vega 25 looks nice. In 1 hour we will know more when NDA expires. Hopefully the release timing and other stuff. A bit strange that only 1 Vega is mentioned and Fury still used in middle parts. Big Vega coming early and smaller Vega coming later?

Its exactly the same case as is with every other extremely high clocked GPU. For example you can push down GP104 chip from around 185W of power to just 75W with declocking it to 1000 MHz, from 1911 MHz.

Shaving off 250 MHz from the core on Vega GPU can save around 100W-150W of power. And it would still provide 10.2 TFLOPs of compute power.

They've had a PC to run DOOM on, performance was around 10% higher than to 1900mhz overclocked 1080 in Vulkan DOOM on 4k with Ultra Settings.

They state that drivers were still unoptimized (Fiji drivers) and the airflow was complete garbage in the test case to stop any peeking inside the case. PCGH suggests that there could be a case where the card throttles.

Also confirmed is the ID 687F:C1 belongs in fact to Vega 10.

So Vega 10 confirmed to be 8GB of HMB2, 10% faster than 1900Mhz 1080 at 4K with Fiji drivers.
