Peppermill just has a really cool old school vibe going on. It was in Casino and I think Showgirls as well. The food was good too but I guess the vibe is the main reason to go there since you will need to drive to get there.

You're right about HH. But that's why we basically decide what we want and split it. The portions are just way over the top and basically impossible for either of us to come close to finishing one.

Well you should ask for specifics IMO..... I have done it before and have had an successful upgrade. I goto Vegas alot solo... Why ? because i like to gamble and most of my friends dont like to partake. They are sorry bastards.....

My lady doesnt like to go, she thinks its a waste of $. Most people probably feel the same way. Does this stop me ? Nope.....

I told her to go with me once, plenty of shopping, shows and food. Its not all about gambling.

if you have your wife/gf/bf whatever, then its cool to upgrade... if you dont and want to get a better room just be honest.. sometimes they will hook you.

Try your hand at the dumbest table game out there, casino war--yes, it's the card game war played for money. Somehow I managed to make it out about $150 up last time I was there in December. Beats being a few hundred down at blackjack.

As far as restaurants, my personal favorites are Bachi Burger (there are two locations way off strip, I've only been to the one south of the airport), Sage at Aria, Craftsteak at MGM Grand, and La Cave at Wynn.

Go to Capo's for both the food and the atmosphere. It's off the strip but worth the drive. Know the password before you show up.

Oh, yeah, one of those Vegas things is to slip the desk person at least a $20 between your license and credit card so it won't show up on the security cameras, and ask for a room upgrade, I've done it 2X's, worked both times. IIRC, it's called a sandwich...

Also, when you check out, expect a "resort charge" it's a thing, and while the room rates may look good, they still tack on that charge.

Vegas is all about tipping with everything you do.
