And don't forget to add parking.....

You have to pay parking at the 12 MGM Resorts properties. Parking is still free at places like the Venetian, Palazzo, Caesars, and Wynn. But starting end of this month and early 2017, Caesars Entertainment properties and Wynn will join 12 MGM Resorts properties in charging for parking.

Venetian and Palazzo will be like the only decent places that won't charge for parking starting next year.

And now they're even keeping track of your gambling in regards to free drinks. Lame.

I once went to Vegas with a girl I was dating at the time. She worked for a company that reviewed high-end hotels/resorts/restaurants for Forbs, so they footed the bill for us to go and secretly review some hotels and five-star restaurants.

Here was my experience.

Went to Vegas. Was there from the night of 23rd to morning of 26th. It was okay. Very crowded. So many asians. Went to Zion afterwards. Zion wasn't super crowded but more than I expected and also tons of asians still. I'm guessing they all fly over for the holidays? Very weird. Vegas itself was just meh. I wouldn't go back because it didn't really feel like I have any good reason to? I don't drink or gamble and I'm not fond of smoke.

Outside of that, Linq hotel was okay. Not really that good. Room we got didn't have a microwave and the mini-fridge wasn't working. A few things weren't working. Pretty annoying. But a big bed is always helpful. Free parking is good too. Left my car there when I went to Zion.

We just got back from staying at Bally's in the renovated Jubilee tower. That was actually a really nice place, especially since it was comped.

Vegas has everything man. If you can't find what you're looking for the problem isn't Vegas.

I stayed at the Venetian in October. Great hotel, centrally located on the strip, good food, shopping and gambling. I'd go back there again.

there are plenty of better vacations out there for lots of folk. Vegas has gambling, shows and strippers plus some nice restaurants. I'd rather go spend a week in a new country and explore the culture. I know some of the shows are good, I saw Tosh there do standup, but I live next to NYC, there are more shows here than I know what to do with. I don't care to gamble, or spend stupid money on touristy restaurants. I have more than enough great restaurants without having to go get ripped off. Oh Vegas has some nice party spots. Clubs aren't my thing and if I ever want to go to some nightlife, got plenty of that to choose from. I could see if you lived in flyover country Vegas might seem awesome, but it's really not all that.

You don't want to spend lots of money on women rubbing their tits in your face?

God, just go eat your last meal at Mimi's Cafe then kill yourself already.

We stayed at the Palazzo a couple of years ago and agree that Palazzo/Venetian are both very nice places. A few days ago we actually walked back down to Palazzo just to have dinner at Grimaldi's one night since we enjoyed it so much last time. With that said, I don't think I'd consider them to really be center strip. Flamingo, Cromwell, Bally's, Paris, etc. are more centrally located imo but of course 'center' on the strip is relative.

One of my favorite things about Vegas is just how much there is to do outside of Vegas. Grand Canyon (South Rim) is about 4 hours away but you've also got places like Valley of Fire an hour or so out and Red Rock about half an hour out as I recall. Valley of Fire is awesome and definitely the best value day you'll ever spend on a Vegas trip.

I was at LV recently, had a blast even I did not spend a dime at the casinos. Planning to go back again soon. If you don't have fun at LV, you can't have fun anywhere.

Yeah, the OP didn't do Vegas right. You either need do to the tourist thing and do cool stuff like the Jeep tour of Red Rocks or a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, or just go crazy with the Vodka and Strippers route.

Personally, I would have also went to the Wynn myself. That space is super nice, and normally reasonably priced.

Just avoid Circus Circus like the plague. What a dump.

Exactly, there's so many things to do there.

I personally love Vegas but I gamble and drink so Vegas is awesome for me.

Save your money, go to a new country and explore it. Let the white trash of america prop up Vegas's economy.

I have been to numerous countries in Asia, from developing (Thailand and such) to developed (Japan and such) and Australia and several countries in South America and will be back to Asia within a few months this year (2017).

I do not need you or anyone to preach about "go to a new country and explore it", especially from you that love to bash other places but NYC is a-ok. <eyes rolling>

What's this helicopter and jeep tour stuff? Rent a car and go do it yourself!

Though this is ATOT after all... so, bring your own helicopter.

Lived in Bangkok, Thailand for 6 months. Most people never venture out of America. It was an amazing experience. And one that I'm going to do all over again. In fact, I'm looking at going to Vietnam.

I did not stay at any place in Asia that long. I was in Vietnam a while back, here are a few pictures = http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid=thread...saigon-south-vietnam-a-few-months-ago.295204/

If my business in Asia takes off, then I could move to Asia for good. Need to learn how to drive a motorbike and deal with the crazy traffic.

Hummm...the first ever ATOT meet oversea?

Be very careful about driving in SE Asia. Especially motor bikes. Thailand has the 3rd highest vehicle death rate in the world. The people who drive there are frekin crazy. When I was in the backseat of a taxi I was looking for a seatbelt. I couldn't find one. There are no seatbelts in the backseats for some reason. I was then told that many Thais don't wear seatbelts because when they die they'll come back. Reborn as a new person. That's their mentality on death. You don't see many motorbike riders with helmets. It's crazy.

I'm not trying to scare you. Just be careful. It's still a great country with great people. I'm just careful when I'm traveling throughout SE Asia.
