Vegas tips?

I've got two months of vacation that I need to burn coming up. My home town is close to Vegas. I don't ever recall losing in that place. Red never loses. My wife also looks super attractive when I've been drinking and blowing a few grand on the tables. Seems like a win win. Its not quite Thailand, but it will have to do.

Bellagio buffet SUCKED. Was super dissapointed. The 'M' resort was dope. A guy blew his brains out in the buffet since the last time I ate there though...am willing to overlook because they had beer on tap.

Tips welcome. I also conned a stiff drink from a busty waitress at the time. She had AIDS I'm pretty sure.

Went Dec 21-24. Stayed at Venetian. Was ok, but kind of far from center. Still like the forum shops the best.
Liked Paris casino best for ambience. Didn't see any shows.
Bellagio buffet was awful- long lines, cheap quality food and ran out of the best items. The desserts were also so bad.
The Caesars palace buffet was really good in comparison.

I go to the Venetian every year. Oh the restaurants! Carne Vino, Delemonico's, B&B...Best food in the world.

If you think the buffet at Bellagio sucked, then don't do any buffet, at all. Go to spring mountain road, tons of Asian massage places there, or so I've heard. :hmm:

Oh, and if you play slots, always bet max.

The best thing Vegas has are the Cirque du Soleil shows, except Zumanity.

Other than that, maybe some magic shows, but not kriss angel.

Bellagio buffet is not up to par anymore. You get a better buffet at Paris and Caesars these days.

Caesar's buffet was pretty enjoyable. Not amazing though.

Been a few years, but the best buffet for us was at the Madalay Bay. Not cheap though, but they had all the good stuff, and didn't run out of it.
I am now at an age where I can't go back for a third, or even a 2nd plate, so sadly it's no longer a bargain for me.

There are so many great restaurants in Vegas. Why would you even bother with the buffets?

Agreed. Unless you're on a budget, and even then you can get great food for the same price as a crappy buffet.

Buffets are great when a group all cant decide on what to eat. Caesars, Aria, Cosmo all have good buffets.
