Go to Fremont St. (downtown) at night. It's a blast with the light show, get the buffet at the Nugget, and just tool around with one of the 60oz margaritas or daqueries from the Orleans. WAYYY better than the strip.

Also, for the best buffet in town, get the Rio seafood buffet (AYCE Rock Lobster tails, crab legs, shrimp, scallops, mussels, oysters, calimari, pretty much any seafood you can imagine, along with great deserts, a rotating gelato bar, the works. It's pretty much heavan. YOu can catch a bus to the Rio from Caesers. The ride is only like 3 min.

If you go to Cirque de Solel, don't go to KA, it's lame. Penn and Teller is decent but not great.

Collect hooker cards from the mexicans who hand them out on the sidewalks, bring them home, and randomly lay them places around town.

I'm going to Interop too! It'll also be my first time in Vegas. I don't really plan to be at Interop too much, as I have vendors lining up to take me out places and pay for shows/golf/strippers etc. I have more vendors calling me to do stuff than I have time for!

I always figured that if I went to vegas, I would want to have show tickets purchased for each night there. Basically bum around all day and at night see a show before bed.

Just try to plan inexpensive breakfast/lunches and maybe get a nicer dinner.

Man I'm getting old. Back in my day, we were fantasizing about what we were going to do in Vegas for 2 weeks before we got there.

Strip clubs:
forget the full nude ones. all juice bars. but if u must go, try Deja Vu

topless ones:
spearmint rhino, tho i heard it has gone downhill slightly since the economic downturn

If you want full nude and full liquor in Vegas, head on out to the Palomino - off-strip and about a 15-20 minute ride. Don't take a cab out there, if you call them they will pick you up for free.

Went out there a couple of years ago with my buddy, the girls don't hustle as much and definitely aren't as pushy as Spearmint Rhino. Since it's off-strip it's more of a locals joint too. I wasn't interested but some girls were offering the "full-service" if you know what I mean.
