Yeah, for a e6 that temp is high. I get 38c at most on 1.55v with my e6.

Holy crap. I got my DFI and the CPU is 5*+ hotter than the EPOX, the whole room is so damn hot now and my 0516 isn't stable anymore.

My e3 runs 2.7 @ 1.62v prime stable. I think its a week 24 or 28.

No he won't. There is less than 5% chance that he'll get 2700 with a E6. Right motherboard and right ram, sometimes. I went from a epox 9npa that ran my 0516 at 2700 with 1.6v and 44* load. I switched to a DFI ultra-d and now the same processor only runs 2650 at 51*.

i just noticed that newegg now carries the retail e6 cpus. seems like the e3s will be replaced soon. nomore high overclocks.

You never know. Maybe the later e6 will be better. It's the first batch of e6 so it can change.

Just got my 3200+ e6. Week 29. Looks like somewhere between 2575 and 2600mhz stable @ 1.55vcore. Haven't tested yet, but I suspect 2700mhz @ 1.65-1.7vcore on air is the max. Similar to my average e3's, but 100mhz shy of my best e3's and almost 200mhz better than my worst e3 was (ironically that one was a week 17).
