Well I finally got things booted up.. Seems that the mounting screw oddity I noted is in fact just that, some kind of strangeness. I removed and reseated the cooler once again, with the same results, apparently good contact, cooler looks level even in cam pics where I can zoom in closer, and temps are fine (25C idle with the 920 @ stock). Temps are according to the BIOS though, I'll have to get it cooking with some stress tests later. Still putting the final pieces of the puzzle together like sleeving and custom power cables. Overall seems to be working great though. Despite the odd screw-height when mounted, install was a breeze. I gave the pressure mod screw a small turn just for the hell of it.

BTW, mine still twists easy as well. A slight bump while plugging in the 8-pin and the cooler was at its crooked extremes, lol.

Ahh but it all pays off when you stand back and look at your rig.. everything matches and its just beautiful

At least that's what I tell myself trying to justify buying a $200+ red PSU vs. a perfectly good Corsair or Seasonic for cheaper

Check these stats on the Seasonic X 650w Gold - Amazing psu! If you need to find out your wattage draw from your outlet Lowes has a cheap Watt Load reader, or New Egg has one as well. My i7 (rig 2) draws ~ 265w during gaming which puts that right along the 92% efficiency curve and did I mention 20mv ripple WOW!

Oh well. The Enermax Revo works great and I'm happy with it. Thing weighs a ****load though, lol.

Somehow my mid-tower case i7 build now weighs more than my P182 C2D setup.
