I went to the Santa Clara store last night and they were out, didn't know for sure if they would get more. There were two or three others wanting these too. The sale just started Sunday and lasts until the 20th. Sure looks like an Office Max sale to me.:disgust:

I just picked up a pack for myself. I picked it up at best buy using a price match, Microcenter is kind of far. So if anyone wants these, you can just price match to somewhere else as well.

Yeah, same pack as BB had on sale a few weeks ago (got a pack then)...Office Depot's selling them at the same price as well. I don't need them right now but I don't think I can resist.

Supposedly the Verbatim discs are the best right now. I also bought Memorex DL discs, but I have only burned one so far, and cannot compare.

ridata is ritek i think, and nobody likes the ritek. The verbatim are MCC i believe, but i forget teh code.

Here's a link to all the DVD+R DL disks. There are 27 mfgs but just 6 media codes
DVD+R DL media codes
There's:
RITEK...D01
MKM...001
CMCMAG.D01
RICOHJPND00
PHILIPS.CD2
PRODISCD01

Funny thing is Memorex has Philips media codes and Philips has the MKM...001 media codes.
The Memorex I've tried have the RITEK...D01 codes and 5/6 burned fine. I think the first one was my fault. I just flashed my NEC2500a to a 2510 DL with the herrie firmware. Burns nice.
