The ad shows them as Memorex, but they are really verbatim. If in-store they give you anything about it, just match up the bar code numbers to the verbatims and they match up

1080p, are you sure? Last I checked each of the three movies in EE 1080p HDTV were something like 4 dvds EACH.
Lemme check. Yeah its like almost 20 gigs for FOTR EE in 1080p (1920x1080) res. So thats 5 dvds for just that one movie.

Maybe the non EE ones are smaller. But for me at least the first 2 movies, the EE versions add a TON of stuff that I think make the movies much more enjoyable.

To OP: Thanks for the deal, I might grab a couple to get a few DL disks in case I ever need them.

Thanks OP, this is much better than the 3 3-packs for $46 that I get at Sam's. Will let you know tomorrow if this works for me.

FWIW. I backed up LOTRROTKext. onto one DL disk with only about 5% shrinkage, after removing superfluous goo like menus, extra sound tracks, and the 20 minute credits. Came out very well. Looks 100% on my 8' screen.
