Verizon Family Plan Line Charges?

This text on the Verizon page for Family SharePlans is a bit confusing to me:

That implies to me that if you had the 700 minute family plan with two phones on it that you would pay just the $69.98 base price for the plan (and then more for your two data packages on top of that).

Do I have that wrong, and you have to pay $9.99 extra per line no matter how many lines you have?

We get billed $9.99 per extra line. So the first one is the $69.98, second is $9.99 and third is $9.99. It does appear to be from that link it should be $69.98 for two lines, and $9.99 for each extra. But we have Nationwide Talk Share 700, which may be an older plan? I don't know.

EDIT: Wait, I think I figured it out. Our bill has the main plan listed as $50.00. Then my line and my wife's line each have a "Line Access" charge of $9.99. $50.00+9.99+9.99=$69.98. Then the third line has another $9.99. So yea, what they have listed is correct.

i have the same plan. it's $70 for the first 2 lines + $10 for each additional line. Data and text can be added separately for whichever line you wanted.

Ok, looks like I need to give Verizon a call then and get this worked out, as they're adding $9.99 line items for all our lines. Thanks guys.

But what is the price of the main plan? Like I said, all of our lines get the $9.99 line item option, but the main plan lists as $50. So add the $9.99/each from the first two lines and it equals the $69.98 they say for two lines. That's probably what you're looking at, it confused me at first as well.

Family plan starts at 2 lines, so that price is for 2 lines. Every line after that is $10, plus more $$ for data if needed (on every line).

2 minimum, up to 3 more lines at $10 each = 5 lines total
