Verizon FiOS Router to buy?

So, I just moved, and cable was a huge ripoff compared to FiOS where I moved to (S. Jersey) so my cable modem is now a brick. Verizon wants $10/mo for a modem, and it's wifi is decent at best (2.4/5ghz N? I bought a $20 Microcenter router two years ago that did this, and allows me more control) Wifi I know, but I'm pretty much in the dark when it comes to FiOS routers. What's a decent option if I'm at 25m/25m and unlikely to upgrade?

Well, you can use a standard consumer router however your ONT has to be setup to send the signal to the router over standard ethernet rather than MoCA through RG6. How is the WAN coming into the current FIOS router?

Also if you are getting TV, you'll need a MoCA to ethernet bridge to feed any DVRs with guide info and VOD still.

As for MoCA compatible routers, you'll pretty much need an Actiontec, like Verizon is going to give you. You can get one of the older ones that you can find on eBay for $40, then stick it in bridge mode only and stick your own router behind it then. That is probably the cheapest/fastest way to do it.
