Cricket Wireless!
Yup, my $50/month unlimited 4g data deal (from this summer) is looking better and better now. Tmobile ftw. Fuck verizon and their $70 for 2G BS.I use about 25GB a month on tmobile unlimited.
And I have a family plan of 2 for $100 with unlimited 4g data (i.e. will never be throttled) from Tmobile. We have a family plan with 2 phones and 6 GB of data from Verizon for around 90.00 a month.

Data seems awfully expensive just for the privilege of it being transmitted wirelessly. I mean $90 just for a gig or two a month? It's apples and oranges I know, but Comcast gets a bad wrap for limiting people to 300 gigs a month for half that. I guess I'm just shocked at the jump from internet in the house to in the car.

There are plenty of ways to keep unlimited and still get a discounted upgrade. I've done it 3 times since this all began in 2012? Never bought a full priced phone. They just closed some of the methods on 11/15/15 though, which is what screwed me. Just google upgrade verizon phone and keep unlimited. This news came out awhile ago. The only saving grace is now that Verizon users on the unlimited plan can get a new phone, ans spread it out over 2 years on their monthly plan. I had just been buying phones outright.
It is extremely annoying going to a Verizon store and they try to get me to upgrade, after I say no they try again. Except one rep, tried to buy my line for $500. There is a decent market if you're trying to tell an unlimited plan. To "stick it to the man" maybe I will just stream Pandora all night every night while I sleep. Try to use up the $20 difference. Nothing I can do about it besides just fucking take it, and that is annoying. I can't get the same service and data anywhere else at the price still.
Tmobile sucks around here. Verizon is actually $45 fo 3G, not sure where you get $70 for 2G. My wife has the $45 plan, need to bump her up though.

And their service still sucks.Meanwhile, T-Mobile just added video (Netflix, HBO, Hulu, etc) to it's "doesn't count towards your data use" list, like they did with music a few months ago (Pandora, Google Play, etc).
Will do, thanks. I have only bought two new phones since it started. Right about to buy another after New Years. Just had a wedding Anniversary, Christmas is close, and two of my three kids have a birthday in Jan. So will wait a bit and get one early next year.
Thinking of the Droid 2 Turbo just for the screen and battery. Looking at it side by side with the Note 5.. and the Note 5 looks so much better though. May wait till the S7, but like video cards, always something better coming out.

This is the definitive guide as far as I know. Huge write up and the OP is actively involved in updating the guide and answering questions.
I'd wait a bit until the dust settles from Verizon's new shens, this crap on the 15th really shook things up.
And their service still sucks.
i thought obama said that if i liked my plan i could keep it
Huh, I thought they were adding to their network... not reducing it. I was just starting to consider giving them a shot but that part scares me.

Call them and threaten to cancel, they offered me no price increase if I signed for another year. I was off contract with unlimited data.
I deferred, went with TMobile, unlimited streaming is awesome, and their prices are competitive.
TMobile can offer all of those features because their service only works 25% of the time
