Versace watches

I know list price doesn't mean squat and you can always get a Timex for $12 but this seems like a decent deal for this type watch.

There is also a 10% off coupon available.

you really don't know about watches, do you?

Go check out how much a AP, "analog," wrist watch runs for.

Overstock is known to sell fake luxury goods. I would never buy any luxury item from there unless you want a fake.

Versace watches are not my style anyways. I'll take nice Rolax if I wanted to spurge or nice Omega if I wanted performance for cheap.

You couldn't have possibly been looking for the word "analog". Anybody that clueless should defiantly cap their watch spending limit a $10.

$550 is a pretty remarkable deal for an automatic chronograph, regardless of manufacturer. I hate Versace clothes, but these watches are actually pretty clean and handsome. I don't think I'd buy one of these, but they are a good deal.

hrmm... I'm getting highly tempted here. What I really want is a titanium omega or something though. That's my only hesitation

Yes of course. The way Overstock gets around this is that they claim they're merely platform for people and companies to liquidate their merchandise. Sort of like Ebay for wholesellers if you will.

It wouldn't be first time Overstock got busted for selling fake goods. There was a huge thread last year around this time about Overstock selling fake Tiffany heart pendant necklace. It was obviously fake and Overstock tried to deny it even after getting busted. I was going to order couple of Burberry bags for my wife at a discount before I saw this. I ended up buying Louie Vuitton and Burberry bags at the company store in the mall at full price but at least I know its genuine. If I want fake, I can easily buy it at a local flea market for cheaper, and I know I'm getting a fake. With Overstock you never know on these luxury goods.

omegas a good, starting line of high end watch. My dad has a constellation and it still looks great! If you look, you should be able to walk away with one for about $900.

I actually am interested in one of these. I pulled this statement from their warranty info and it certainly makes me think they are representing these watches as "authentic". If they are not then I'd say you'd have a case for fraud--but hey, I'm no lawyer.

Statement of Authenticity:
Overstock.com offers genuine name-brand watches at substantial discounts to the manufacturer's suggested retail price and retail values. Because of our discounted pricing, we are not 'Authorized Dealers' as defined by the manufacturer.

We buy our watches through authorized dealers, distributors, and other established lines of distribution within the watch industry. While the watches are brand new and authentic, the manufacturer's warranty may not be valid. Therefore, Overstock.com will guarantee any watch purchased, up to three years from the purchase date.

Rolexes are overrated IMHO, you're paying more for the name than quality. Of course, when you get into that price bracket, many times you're shopping for the name as well. I have an Omega Aqua terra, which I love.

If you're looking for a quality, automatic/manual for "cheap", check out Titoni. Not a name, for sure, but still a fine watch.

You got me, I rock thee, Versace and linen
While you stop your grinnin wit bunch of foxy women
Why you speed ball with cards, that's invalid
I get clothes, custom made, from a stylist
Cruise in my Lexus Land with no mileage
While you walk the street until your feet get calloused
Take you on a natural high, like a pilot
It be all good, toss your clothes like a salad
When it's all over put your vote in my ballot
It's my diner, I'm Mel, and you're Alice
Spend a night, in Lil' Cease palace
It be all good as long as you don't act childish
While you standin there with the Crist' in your cup
If worse come to worse keep this on the hush, uhh

If I saw someone wearing a Versace watch, I'd figure they paid no more than $100 for it. Who wears Versace besides Biggie anyway?

If you don't care what brand goes on your wrist and don't want a digital watch, get the cheapest watch you can find that has an unscratchable sapphire crystal face.

Ashford Ladies $95

Ashford Mens $130

If you do care, just make sure its a watch that you like, rather than the best deal you could find.

Rolex > all

They've got history in the watch making business like no other watch company, and you get that warm feeling inside knowing all the profits are donated to charity.

Rolex... there is no substitute.

Don't spend that kind of money on a Movado or Omega et al - might as well go a bit more expensive for much more prestige.
