If you need something to reach coupon level. Some people have reported difficulty in getting rebates on this from previous purchases. Those rebates were directly to the manufacturer. Don't know if this one is.

I just ordered it online, NO MIR, it was 19.99 plus S&H&T came out to about $26.00

my wife had just gotten on to me about getting checks too. Sweet.

plus since i have the Xerox Phaser, all the checks i print go in as pages printed. double bonus for me.

The product page online shows a printable rebate for me, but I get an error when I try to access it. Maybe later in the day.

I've been using Versacheck for years. It's saved me beaucoop dinero on checks, especially since my banks keep getting bought and sold and changing our account numbers. The only drawback is that many check scanners can't read them (commercially printed checks use magnetic ink for the characters at the bottom of the check) so my grocery store, etc, hate me as they have to key the checks manually. Boo Hoo for them, though. Some newer check readers can scan optically, but not many.

I am waiting as well. in fact on 2 different rebates from them...though on the second rebate I read the requirements thoroughly and found out that you had to register your product..so I did both...I am gonna drag my copies out and call them. maybe everyone should as well.

I got this deal at CompUSA back in February....emailed G7 Systems on June 20 asking them where the heck my rebate check was.....and I got the rebate on July 5. The product is awesome .... especially if you have a color laser printer. You can print just about anthing on your checks. hehehehe

Stoopid question, but can you print deposit slips too? Ran out of the ones in the back of my checkbook and I hate having to fill out the "generic" deposit slips.
