no you pay extra to have the paper certificates now. they have to make money somehow i guess.

Speaking of certification tests, at least Microsoft is finally wising up to the reality that their MCSE testing provides for no real world knowledge (aka "Paper MCSE's). I just read where they are going to have practical testing vs. just multiple choice exams that people can study for at braindump sites, etc. Maybe in the future an MCSE designation might actually mean something for someone looking for an IT job.

I never understood why they changed the name from TekMetrics (or was it TechMetrics?) to Brainbench. At least the former sounded more "real".

BTW, there's a lot of work that go into these tests... It was fun working on one for them, but the pay/hours didn't add up to making it worth doing again...
