They also have the Sceptre 17" X7G for $635 shipped and the Planar 17.4" for $652 shipped. Both these monitors have DVI connections. Anyone have any experience with either one?

this 19" has DVI/ I, and analog input. 2 port USB hub, speaker.

Personally, I think this is much better deal then the 17.4 inch one. Remember, dell just drop the price on this one to 879, but not on the 17.4 inch one.

Hey guys,

I'm going to place an order for the 2000FP. As it now stands, it shows the 15% off, but not the free shipping. I went back to the main page to verify that shipping was free, and it does state:

"With ANY ONLINE Software & Peripheral order over $99."

Is there any reason why this isn't reflected in the cart? I did the thing where it calculates the shipping, and no matter what choice is made, it shows a different dollar amount. Is the basic deal that the 15% off negates the free shipping?

Also...if anybody knows of any additional ways to reduce the price, I'm all ears

I'm replacing this Apple 22" TFT that I grabbed from Frye's last weekend with the 2000FP, simply because I know that gaming will be better on the Dell...I can only hope that the standard 2D side of the house is as good as this Apple display.

I had the dell fp2000. wasnt very good for games unless you kept it at the 1600x1200 resolution. Then yoou could still see the pixels, and a little ghosting. I sent the thing back after 3 days. I bought it for a dual monitor setup for my dell/sony 21" CRT. It is very good for reading though. I since changed to a planar 17.4 for the secondary monitor. No ghosting, great for games.

I think i might just jump on the 19" planar. Thanks

They sometimes take a couple of days, and sometimes, it seems almost immediate.

As long as you went through the ebates link, it will show up in your account soon. If you didn't go through the ebates link, it will never show up.
