Just wondering when people put their order in, and when they received the monitor.

I ordered around 4:30PM on 8/20, and I have an estimated Ship Date of 8/23.

I'll just say...a SUPER nice setup considering you 'just graduated from MIT'. College was a time of lean years for me. Now I'm accumulating my toys

Ordered 8/21 and received 8/22.

No dead pixels and seems pretty quality. Quake3 looks great, DVDs look great, no "ghosting" that I can tell at 1280x1024 @ 75hz connected to a GEForce4 4600 with DVI cable. Text however is taking some getting used to as it's somewhat grainy compared to the text on the 21" Trinitron tube that it replaced. Cleartype is turned on in XP. $700 is an awful lot of money for *any* monitor in my opinion, but it's nice to have some desk space back.
Using one computer with DVI cable and another with the analog cable at the same time, there is no big difference when switching the monitor back and forth between computers.

I ordered 1 for the wife on 08/21 around 12pm EST and received it this afternoon, my 19" CRT looks very poor next to it! , I need one for myself now!

BAD MOVE!!! First rule...always give the wife the current setup when you upgrade. Then, she wants what you have so you have the excuse you need right from the start to buy the second one or upgrade your setup again.

Dell's webpage sucks! It updates so slowly, just found out mine was delivered today. They never even updated to say it was shipped. Argh. Now I have to wait till tomorrow morning to grab it from the mailroom. SHIZZZ

For those who ordered few days ago while there was 20% off, call Dell for the 5% refund. I just hang up with Dell and they were able to refund me the difference. I didn't even have to give them the coupon code. Just tell them you received the 25% coupon right after you placed the order.

I ordered on 08/21 and received on 08/22. The model I received is the "ADU" instead of the "Z". I mentioned this problem to Dell and they said they can ship the correct model to replace the wrong one. After receiving the correct model, then send back the wrong one. Well, I don't have time to wait for the next shipment and return the wrong one. So if the only difference is just the number of USB ports ("ADU" has 2 while "Z" has 4), then I will stick with the ADU model. Anyone knows the other differnces?
