I would never give personal info to a webiste domain registered at godaddy.com

You have a problem with companies that use godaddy for a registrar?

It is one of the largest, most known registrars. I'm not sure why this particular bit of info would in itself cause you to distrust this website.

Just to mention, several months ago a law was passed entitling everyone to 1 credit report per year from each of the 3 major credit raters (equifax, transunion and experian). This is a change from the usual fees and 'credit monitoring' plans that you used to have to go through. Some states can get it already, some have to wait a few months:

wish i had known about this a couple weeks ago, and for all of you thread crappers being worried about whether or not Experian is a credible company, Experian IS one of the 3 credit bureaus in the nation along with Equifax and Trans Union. Do your homework before trying to frighten people.

Actually if you knew anything about websites or domain registars, a reputable company does not use godaddy.com. That is the first indication this is a scam website used to harvest personal info.

Good luck to all the fools that fell for it.

It doesn't matter who is your registrar, the registrar has nothing to do with the company's website and data. No company would give access to their confidential data to the registrar.

Work on your basics.

These are just bunch of losers who missed their chance and now wanna frighten people.

Just for your information godaddy.com is also registrar for <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="https://www.annualcreditreport.com">https://www.annualcreditreport.com</a>

AnnualCreditReport.com is a centralized service for consumers to request annual credit reports. It was created by the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

Also check the FTC website.

Better luck next time and this time do your homework before replying.

experian and their credit expert is well known credit bureau and I subscribed for this service last year for close to $100 per year. This is an awesome deal, to get this for free, and your moronic moans about registrar is just pure BS. Experian is a national credit bureau and this is their website. If you've got a problem with, go jump off the empite state building.

New to the Internet? I hope you aren't talking to me.

You have no idea how many websites I have developed. The only thing your registrar is responsible for is keeping track of the DNS servers that are authoritative for your domain and domain contant/administration info. For all practical purposes your registrar has nothing to do with your web content or site security.

Godaddy has been a great registrar with excellent customer service to my business and all of our clients.

The email address I was not aware of, I was only responding to your allegations that godaddy is not a reputable registrar.

Keep in mind that the 'score' that you buy from any of the bureaus is not the same score calculated for lenders... there can be a huge variation. Any of you that are currently in the process of applying for credit, and got your score through this deal, ask the lender what score they pulled (and of course, make sure both are from the same bureau.) In my experience, it's not uncommon for the "score" a consumer buys directly and the score we get as a lender to vary as much as 100 points, even when pulled the same day.

Thanks for the info on the free credit report Kiran. I've always heard about it but didn't know the url.

I was pretty much shocked how detailed the credit history goes into!
