I mean hey don't be a pussy, buy my perfect condition opened game for $60 bucks! Any takers I got Halo 3 $60, GTA4 $60 and Lost Od $60 . There are no finger prints and they have never been used... you can't prove me wrong amirite?

Anyone?!?!

Thank you!

There is a difference between him selling his mint condition games as new and flipping out in public in front a shit load of people. What you are failing to realize here is that those in this thread who are arguing against you are not doing it so much because they agree with the business practice. They are doing it because of how you reacted in public towards that business practice. Hell, I have managed to teach my kid by the age of 3 not to throw tantrums in public like that. Surely you can do the same.

Did I mention I had two people thank me for informing them that GameStop did that?

Which could have easily been done without acting like someone just stabbed your mother.

You guys act like I was apple red and was yelling at the top of my lungs. Sorry to say...I wasn't, but I sure let the other customers around me know what was going on. There are ways of being loud and getting point across, and then the fine line of yelling and screaming...which I did not do. Stop arguing your opinion about me....the focus is on GameStop.

If it is opened how is it new?

Now yelling and causing a scene sucks ass.
But sometimes it needs to be done.

Also how do we know that the game never has been tested?
It could have been played by the employees in the PS3 at the store after hours or before house. No one knows right?

Plain and simple fact. If you bought a new game. It should come wrapped or have the security sticker left intact.

I'm pretty sure you meant unopened right?

haha Yup Unopened let me fix that lol thanks for the correction

Let me just add this. Say you reserved this game and paid for in advance like I did. Now, say the copy you bought and expected to pickup brand new was intended to be a gift to someone. Would they not think you yourself to be shaddy and cheap for giving them a used game.....even though you swear to them "It's new and never been used".

Say I wanted to sell the game brand new to someone....you think they would pay full price for an opened game?

If that is the case then in the future you may wish to think more before you type when posting because your word choice is very misleading when it comes to communication on a web forum.

In regards to Gamestop specifically, I don't like that business practice as a consumer but I understand why they do it. I am also not anal retentive. If there are no scratches and the disk works then it is as good as new. If I happen to be the type of person who really values actually opening the sealed case then I may opt to wait until their next shipment. That or I would just simply accept my loss in this one case and not pre-order from them anymore. Besides, you really do not need to pre-order anymore these days unless you wish to do the midnight pick up thing. There are always copies being sold somewhere and they are usually very easy to find if you just take 5 min to call around and ask them to hold one for you until you arrive.

Read my edit.

You think I'm kidding?

644:2 Disorderly Conduct. ? A person is guilty of disorderly conduct if:

III. He purposely causes a breach of the peace, public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creates a risk thereof, by:
(a) Making loud or unreasonable noises in a public place, or making loud or unreasonable noises in a private place which can be heard in a public place or other private places, which noises would disturb a person of average sensibilities; or
(b) Disrupting the orderly conduct of business in any public or governmental facility;

Keep laughing. Just don't visit my town.

I used to love watching kids like you get red in the face over small things like this when I worked at GameStop, made me feel so much better about myself.

It's a game dude, you got your "new" copy now quit whining and go play it.

When arguments/responses start with "LOL" or "Dude..." I tend to automatically void their point of view.
JLee- "grow up" only works when the person is not acting their age. This "dude" is obviously acting his age.

Man you must be a nitwit. You had a screaming fit because they didn't have a sealed copy of the game? Gimme a break. Maybe if you paid extra to reserve the copy I could see being cheezed off. But screaming your head off and stomping around like a little kid? Wow. If I was there I would have told you to go home and have mommy change your diapey and put you down for your nap.

They can sell an open game (and most of the time, PLAYED game, the workers can take them home and use them) as new. But if I go there and buy a game, and open it, but dont play it, and change my mind, they sure as hell won't let me return it as new, now will they?

Gamestop sucks total ass

yea, sure they do.
