Good review. It would be even better if it had a hotter card like the x1900 series to show how these coolers perform under heavy load.

The Sytrin KuFormula VF1-PLUS preforms really well for the $$. Any word on if this works on a dual slot card (i.e. x1800xt)? And will it work in a two card config?

The pics in the review make it look like it's completely worthless for a multi-card configuration, but it should fit on an X1800 just fine. (As long as you don't want to add another one )

It's not much cheaper than the Accelero X2, which should perform just as well and be a lot quieter going by the results of this test.

It would be nice to see the effect on overall system/CPU temps, especially since the Arctic Cooling has OTES, while many others just move the air around inside the case.

Worthless review IMO. Ok, so they've proven something everyone knows. Every nVidia card on the market can be cooled effectively with pretty much any cooler that fits it....yippee! I'd like to see them cool an X1900XTX crossfire setup running in a dual core machine with each of those coolers; then we could separate sheep from goats.

I can't imagine AC will not produce a version of the Accelero for the 7900GT.

I am very unhappy with my stock cooler on my 7900GT (555/800, no volt mod).

Golgatha: If you had taken the time to read the review you would have noticed he tested the card inside a case with only 1 slow moving fan as cooling. That makes the test valid in my opinion. Granted a X1900XTX would have been nice as well but that doesn't make the test "worthless".

It would have been better to use a X1900 and also have thrown in a Tidewater to see how cheap Water Cooling compares to top of the line Air coolers.

I shouldn't have said worthless. However, this review is worth less than a review in which they used a card which could actually test the limits of the coolers reviewed. Any of the coolers reviewed can cool a 7800GT effectively with ease.

When you word it like that I would have to agree. I kind of liked the 7800GT since I have a 7900GT and they are quite close in temps. But a X1900XT(X) is missing since they are the hottest/fastest cards around.

Too bad there aren't any "blow it out the back" designs available for the x1800/x1900 series at the moment. All of the ones I know of that are recommended keep the old air in the case.
