Hours of googling later I can't find a solution...
I've got a basic VGA->S-Vid/Composite adaptor, which I understand will only work provided the chipset driving the VGA port supports it. I've got an old PC with a GMA 900 (which according to intel supports it) but can't get it to work with my TV. I've also tried plugging it into a Radeon 5450 in the PC and no dice.
I've played with all manner of settings and can't get it to work (just shows garbage on the TV). Is this something that's plug 'n play and so if it doesn't work off the bat it won't or is there something I can tweak here? Machine is running XP and I'm more of a OS X/Linux guy so I haven't tried any regedit or the like yet.
