VIA P4PB 333 - P4PB 400 - P4X333 or P4X400 chipsets... where to buy?

Hi All


Does anybody know where I can pick up a P4X333 or P4X400 motherboard?
Are they out? (I know Tom's Hardware did a report on the P4X333...)

i have already done this research & found nothing about those specific motherboards. i have only found the older via chipsets one.

I wouldn't be in a rush to buy any of those via boards. I just got a via brand P4x-266a in a Fry's combo (the board was only $22 more than the cheapest 1.8a) and it ran ok for a few hours, then started having random reboots and getting windows error messages at the 100 fsb speed. I'm sure the new models are much better, but you'd better let someone else work out the "bugs" before you buy. It can take several hours of trial and error to get some boards stable.

this is not the same motherboard & the same chipset. the p4x-266a was a lost. the p4x333 was a good board & the p4x400 is an upgrade of the p4x333 with just an improvement of the DDR400 support. have a look on some reviews about. eg P4PB 400 Test Review

The PB4B 400 has been listed on the site for about 3 weeks...until a week ago the price was "TBD."

I have lost interestin the P4X400 chipset, due to the excellent results of the Intel 845G.

Now...you guys show me a great overclocking P4X400, that's stable and obviously feature rich & I'm there baby!!
