it's horrible. mlk sacrificed his life trying to uplift blacks to a higher standard and advocate their fair treatment through non-violent, peaceful means. some 40 years later, here we are...

That's a stupid comment. You have it backwards. This is ONE woman that is not representative of African-Americans. If MLK was alive he would want her to be criticized ON THE CONTENT OF HER CHARACTER, not on the fact that she's black. He didn't die so that all blacks could be good role models. He died so that blacks could be judged WITHOUT their skin color being a factor. I seriously doubt he would be "rolling in his grave". If anything, he'd be sad that people like you are still out there judging people based on their race.

Its a person, not a black person, a person. Her color ain't got a damn thing to do with her behavior........People behave like that all the time, of all colors and races. Why is it so special because she is black? I still don't get the absolute joke here where one black person who is a complete nobody represents all black people? I condemn that pos white cop who shot that black guy in the back. He had no right to pull any weapon and if that had been a white guy he would not have pulled any weapon either.

Most of classy's comments seem to express a frustration with black people being stereotyped because they're black. His comment that I quoted seemed to be counter-intuitive to his stance that stereotyping is unwarranted, etc.
