I have a dell 4300 with using a ATI Rage Fury Pro 32meg AGP card as my main video adapter. I want to capture video from my sharp camcorder using s-video and stereo sound. I have at my disposal an old ATI All-In-Wonder Pro 8meg pci card. If I install this old adapter using an availible pci slot. Is there a way to get it to capture video? I have tried but have had no luck. There are few problems. My main adapter has video in but only composite.(No audio in but I can use line in.) My camcorder has has composite video out but the jack is messed up and it is putting out really bad video. On the bright side I have this machine setup as a dual boot Wink2k and Win98se. I have tried many variations of drivers and capture drivers from ATI with no luck. Is there a way to get my system to use the older All-In-Wonder as my primary display adapter? If I temporarily disable the the AGP adapter, will the system then use the PCI adapter as it's primary display? Can anyone give me suggestions or ideas to try?
Thanks in advance........
