The blue gto2s don't have an external power connector and overclock poorly...and even if they did, next to a x850xt for 160AR they wouldn't really be much of a deal anymore!

Yes, I would definately advise AGAINST buying a blue PCB x800GTO2.

Grab a nice used red PCB.

Good luck with waiting on AGP price cuts for high end (read: midrange in PCIe land) cards. If anything, expect price hikes as supplies dry up -- for example, the AGP X850XT went from $250 in Dec and $200 in Jan to nearly $400 now. Same card is $160 in PCIe form factor.

Definitely watch this space. As NV releases cards on the 9th, ATI is expected to cut prices on their X1800 line, adding more pressure on the currently $200 cards. It's good to be in the market for a PCIe card. Just in time for Oblivion!

Yeah, I kind of agree on AGP. I just don't see it getting better on that front. I'm not saying that there won't be any more AGP cards, although I think its doubtful...but I do think there aren't going to be any more bargains on them. Stinks because my other machine is nforce3.

I believe the "SE" means Special Edition. I checked into this myself for the 7800GT CO SE. I found that the SE does not mean that the card is of lower quality. It simply means that it is in limited supply and that resellers such as Newegg only have a certain quantity of them and once their sold out... their gone.

Is it me or the X850XT rebates on Newegg's site blank?
