Here is my problem. After I installed a new CD burner into my computer, the video system won't work any more. I am not sure where was the problem but the monitor just showed no signal. The monitor itself is fine because it works well when i connected it to my laptop.. So the responsible part should be my motherboard or my video card, right? I thought it might be the video card since the fan on it won't run anymore. Anyway yesterday I got a new MB, I got a ISA video card and plugged it in. OK, finally see something on my screen, then I adjusted the drive connection a little bit, restart, there is nothing. The same problem came to me again. Monitor said waiting for signal but there isn't. Then I got frustrated so I unplugged all the drives, still got nothing. I even dug out another PCI video card, last time I saw it it worked, but not this time. I am waiting for my new video card coming, but I really don't know if it could solve this problem.
Please help me on this one. Now I really don't have a clue.
