Video Card - No Display Signal

My old Geforce 6800GS won't display anything, and I have no idea why. I get one long beep followed by two short beeps when I boot. It was working just fine before I had taken out to put in a new video card. I put it back in earlier today to make sure it was working because I was planning to sell it, but that will have to wait.

Any suggestions as to what I can try to fix this problem? I don't want to be stuck with a dead video card if possible. Even if I can't sell it, it can at least serve as emergency backup. Thanks in advance.

the beeps are the motherboard saying there's a video error.

Take out and reseat the card.

Check to make sure the external power connector is plugged in.

Check BIOS settings to be sure you didn't mess with the PCIe clock frequency.

Etc.

I tried those, but the card still doesn't work. Thanks for the suggestions though I'll keep searching around online and hopefully find something.
