Hello,
Just one more correction (unless 3dfx has changed something since initial release). The v3-3k does not have tv-out. That is the v3-3500TV.
Here's the breakdown (direct from
www.3dfx.com).
v3-2000: 143mhz clock/300mhz ramdac
v3-3000: 166mhz clock/350mhz ramdac
v3-3500: 183mhz clock/350mhz ramdac/TV-out
Just my $0.02--I would probably go for a v3-3k if you can get a good deal on one. Over-clockability can vary from one card to another, since they only have to guarantee default clock-speed, so as Goi has already explained in good detail, better odds of o/c-ability on a 3k, plus higher RAMDAC means higher refresh rates and better 2d visual quality. Wouldn't buy a 3500 unless you need tv-out. A 3k should be o/c-able to 183.
