There is no question cats are, pound-for-pound, much tougher and more formidable than any dog. I only wish they used their powers to help humanity more often . . .

most cats are evil. it's just nature. but every now and then there is one that is a good cat.

it is rare that it is caught on camera though.


but i agree. i think cats are just more vicious then dogs. they usually go after small game. We used to keep a bunch of cats in our barn. I have seen a cat take on a huge possum and kick its ass.

As the labrador-chow mix began to drag Jeremy, Tara the cat raced into the picture and threw her little body into the dog, forcing the pooch off the boy.

news video reports the dog was coming back around for a second go and mom tried to stop him. mom got bit as well. neighbor's dog, now in quarantine.

Clearly, the cat saw his subjects being attacked by an outside pet and took the chance to reestablish he was the dominant figure in that household. Now, his subjects will bring him gifts for a little work.

In my considerable experience with cats, the good-to-evil ratio is at least 20-to-1 in favor of good. I've only ever known one really mean-spirited cat, and I think he was warped by being raised by four pot-smoking undergrads. Later on he moved past it and was a solid pet.

That could have been deadly if that dog got an artery before the cat got involved. That kid has skinny kid legs, not much in the way of protection from dog bites.

I'm not a cat guy, but that cat is awesome. I like dogs, but Chows are the one breed I don't trust.
That dog needs to be put down, period.

As much as I absolutely hate cats, and almost unconditionally love dogs... I hope that cat did some good damage to that dog.

And I hope a human goes further and puts the dog down.

And IF that dog has an owner, hopefully someone damages him. I see no collar though; that's not a guarantee, but it could be a stray/feral. Looks healthy, so I doubt feral.

Can't really get a great look at the dog for breed ID, but it really could be a mix of any number of breeds. Could be Pit/Rhodesian mix, Lab/Pit, Lab/a billion other, Rhodesian Ridgeback and a billion other combinations, etc.

The only other time I have witnessed a cat move with such velocity and ferocity is when my cat had kittens and a neighbour's dog entered her territory. Just like Tara she threw her whole weight into the dog's face and subsequently chased it away.

Happened in bakersfield. owners gave the dog up to animal control and it's going to be euthanized.
