Someone needs to go postal at the Smith and Wesson factory. I'm all for people owning guns but if you make it so easy for people to get guns, things like today's rampage will continue.

So can some one explain to me why everybody goes after the video game industry when there is a shooting but nobody blames the gun manufacturers. I realize that people kill people but there is certainly a bias here.

The videogame people need something like the NRA. The videogame industry should start buying up politicians, money talks. We need to add something to the Constitution, like, the right to play violent videogames of our own choosing.

Obviously a well thought out plan on your part. Almost as good as the guy that tried to rob a gun store. During business hours. While there was a cop car parked out front.

i doubt they have the guns and ammo lying around the factory (other than the section where they do the test firing)

Well possessing a gun does not psychologically condition one to be a killer. While assuming the role of killer under gaming circumstances, can condition one mentally to kill people.
You enjoy the "safe" killing so much that you begin to imagine real life killing as equally gratifying.
A game's influence depends to a degree how much you immerse yourself in the game and how strong your morals are in the first place.

When there is a shooting people do go after the gun manufacturer. So both the video game and firearm industry get blamed for violence.
