Gabriel Sterling, Georgia's voting system implementation manager, addressed the claim in a public statement Tuesday, saying a young elections employee in Gwinnett County received death threats online.
“A 20-something tech in Gwinnett County today has death threats and a noose put out saying he should be hung for treason because he was transferring a report on batches from an EMS (Election Management Server) to a county computer so he could read it," Sterling said. He also directly called out President Donald Trump and Georgia's U.S. senators for not condemning violent threats toward election workers.
