What is a good PCIe video card that would be good for editing video and DVRs that would be around $200 Its for a friend so i dont know a lot more info except it will be going into a relatively new 3.2ghz Dell PC with 1gb ram
If its just normal video, Integrated will be fine. If he intends on playing HD content (escpecially h.264 content) Then a normal eVGA 7300GS will be enough.
not sure but I know he does a lot of editing high definition from mini dv cam and video shooting; usually has more than 1 video screen running at same time
If he's doing a lot of HD video editing, he may want to go with a workstation card like a FireGL or Quadro. He needs to post a thread on AT, to get the right info.
