The psychology of the buyer.
I was just having a look at the TOP GPU sales of Newegg (
link) when I show a $330 RTX3050 in number 5 position, a $440 RTX3060 at number 7 position and a $380 RTX3050 in number 9 position.
Then I searched newegg for RX6600 and RX6050XT prices and this is what I found,
XFX RX6600 = $330, same price as the RX3050 in number 5 position .
According to TPU the RX6600 is 30% faster in 1080p gaming.
Gigabyte/Asrock RX6050XT = $400, cheaper than the RTX3060 in number 7 position.
According to TPU the RX 6050XT is 26.5% faster in 1080p gaming and 25% faster at 1440p.
RX 6050XT is also faster in many RayTracing games at 1080p.
Ok I will have to say that I can understand why RTX3060 is selling at $440, but it is mind blogging to see that people buy the RTX3050 at $330 and especially at $380.
I mean wtf people, $380 for the 3050 when RX6600XT is 45% faster at the same price ??? You dont want to buy a Radeon fine, for 40 bucks more ($420) you can get the cheapest RTX3060 that is 35% faster vs the RTX3050.
Really there is zero reason I can thing off to make me choose or recommend the $380 RTX3050 over what is currently out there from both AMD and NVIDIA.
Do your homework people before you buy, dont just buy looking only at the name or price but read reviews , watch a few youtube reviews and also search for other hardware alternatives.
