I'm on part 2 of the F1 turbo vid. I like this line
"The smooth power Jones is experiencing is due to the totally uncompetitive boost pressure of 2.5 bar, about half of race boost"

Holy fudge, I never knew they ran that kind of pressure!

Watched em before bed. Reminded me of the races i saw with my dad in the 70s.

Will never forget sitting in a f1 Ferrari when I was 7.



Racing back then seemed almost spiritual. The crowds of tifosi back them
Literally willed drivers to push right up to the edge.

You always knew who was pushing because the cars would get unsettled and twitch like the Ferrari 186.

The cars sounded amazing in person back then. Now things are clinical

5.5 bar for qually... 80 odd psi.

Required a blend of 84% toluene and 16% n-heptane...
