Last night while browsing the internet, I noticed that my temprature had maxed out. The last time this happened I found I had a virus. So I immediately turned on zonalarm and I got 197 alarms that my computer was trying to access many ip addresses using a netbios name. I found a program named vieuj.exe. I ended this task and the alarms and my temp dropped to normal. Any idea what this is? I have it quarrantined by Norton AV now and everything seems to be working ok. It does not scan as a virus. Any help appreciated. Oh and searches at google altavista and sarc return nothing. Any help appreciated.

Did you submit the file via scan and deliver to Symantec? If not please do.

trojans can generate random filenames...but I'm surprised an updated virus scanner wouldn't pick it up. could be a new variant...I agree, send it to a virus/trojan scan company.

Sarc seems to be down. I can't get it to submit. Thanks anyway. By the way its listed in task manager as a Microsoft Diagnostic. Going there to search. Like I said thanks!
