Viewsonic VG150 15 inch LCD for $303 plus shipping (after coupon and rebate)

This is my first hot deal post so here goes:

Dell Business has a 20% off code from their software and accessory store. Code is available at the place that has bargains on tech stuff

The VG150 is $503 - 20% = $403

Then go to rebateshq.com and grab the $100 off rebate which is good until June 30th.

Net price is $303 plus about $10 for shipping and any applicable tax.

I got this monitor 2 months ago for a net price of $375 and I thought that was a hot deal. It is a great LCD monitor, so $303 is a smoking deal.

Make sure you get the VG150 to use the rebate. There is a similar model called the VE150 with no rebate.

Had to buy this. Eopinions, rebate, 20% off, eyestrain, lack of space in kids room where this is going, was too much to resist. Heck even E-bay prices were higher. Happy at $ 350 for this monitor.

after you add it to your cart, look at your cart, there is a small box next to subtotal labeled Add Coupon. Click on this box and a pop-up window goes up. Add your coupon code into the field, click ok and you should get your discount.

I did notice that the price jumped to $508 before discount and rebate. Still a good deal though.

Good Deal

I can confirm the "out of stock" on this item. I ordered in Thursday 6/14/01 @ 6:30 pm.
Web site order status reflects "delayed" on backorder.

It took forever on hold to reach Dellware for info. They provided no ETA for restock but I expressed concern that I had a "rebate" timeline to adhere to,they stated that I could leave the order valid and call & cancel at a later date.

I will give it till next week and see if they email the ETA info.

Follow-Up Unit has shipped.

Well I just checked the web order status again and

"Your order has completed shipping preparation
and should be picked up by the carrier within

I don't know how reliable the CSR info from this morning (out of stock)was if the unit's
really are in stock.

Maybe I will convince the wife to order me a second one.

DVI monitors are tight. I just bought a Dell 1701FP and can't wait. I've had a Gateway FPD1500 for the last year and the color, contrast, clarity, and complete lack of strain on my eyes have been wonderful. GET AN LCD.
