One way to (possibly) avoid sales tax is to buy it at the Gateway Accessory Store; you can use a $25 off coupon and the shipping is free. You'll come out nearly the same overall.
This deal isn't particularly hot, but you'll pay about the going rate for one of the no-name LCDs, and get a ViewSonic instead. I personally am waiting for 18" LCDs to become affordable.
