I notice in the specs it says

Response Time: 8ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 16ms white-black-white (typ)

I always thought grey to grey was the color transition that took the longest. What is with the white to black transition taking twice as long?

Hmm, apparently you cant adjust height or anything else though, it's stuck in the position it comes in.

You cant adjust height, or rotate for portrait view, but it does have a tilt adjust. Mine sits perfectly eye level on my desk, and my girlfriend just raises the seat position to get eye level viewing. I paid $409 shipped and it was worth every penny.

read a little more carefully - it says White -> Black -> White. It's showing a full cycle, not just a one way transition.

banding issue

I'm waiting for my 2nd replacement from dell, not because of the banding issue (which it has, but doesn't bother me _that_ much), but because of at least 8 dead/stuck pixels in each of the last two that I've got. If this new replacement still has that many dead pixels and banding issues, I'm flat out returning it.

Im in the same boat. This is getting irritating. It should have definately shipped by today :\

I just submitted for it to be canceled. So it will either be canceled or shipped by tomorrow.

I won't buy it a Newegg with their crappy dead pixel return policy. Ill get it at Office Depot or Compusa and use the $50 rebate for $350and taxes first. It may be a little more expensive but at least Ill have the peace of mind knowing I can return it.

It can be had for 379.99 - 100.00(rebate) + 32.30 = 312.29 at J&R Music World though.

I got an email from Buy.com last night stating their inventory was incorrect and their working on fixing that in the future. I hope they hurry the hell up. This isn't the first time they've done this to me. So the vx2025 is out of stock. If your waiting on your order to ship I suggest you cancel your order and buy it somewhere else.
